Go Rentals Adds Tesla Model S to Fleet.
Newport Beach,
California – March 2015 – Go Rentals, the only car rental company

recently announced the addition of the all-electric Tesla Model S to its fleet.
Sleek, efficient and powerful, the Model S can accelerate to
60 mph in 3.1 seconds. Impressive range is attributed to a lighter all wheel
drive motor and Autopilot combines a forward looking camera, radar, and 360
degree sonar sensors with real time traffic updates. As if all of that weren’t
enough, the Model S boasts the highest safety rating in America.
The
driver’s cabin is designed to have the sound engineering of a recording studio
and includes a notable 17 inch touch screen that’s angled toward the driver.
Nearly every aspect of the car can be controlled from this iPad-like display,
eliminating the need for any knobs or buttons, giving the car a clean,
minimalist feel. If that weren’t enough, you can also interact with the vehicle
using your smartphone – find its location, check the battery life, adjust the climate
and open the sunroof to name a few.
“The only liquid you need to put in the car is
some occasional washer fluid,” says company President, Kavous Gitibin, “and it
only has door handles when they’re needed,” he says, alluding to the door
handles becoming flush with the body when the car is in motion or parked. “In
